Energies Conservation

This is a series where Mabel establishes a conceptual bridge between works from the past and those to come in the future. The pyramid is an element that expresses balance and has been used for the storing of food and in medical treatments as well.

The artist uses its structure to preserve energies related to human values and sensations. The piece of art: In an ordinary day She took several pictures of the most banal and common events like the opening and closing of a door, the getting into and out of a car, a greeting and a farewell, a sunrise and a sunset; the blink of an eye. All these instants that pass without having a full awareness of them are those that entwine remarkable moments that afterwards become memories.

In this piece of art the schematic shape of the pyramid is used to preserve in our memory the memories shown in the pictures.
